LICENSE TYPE
DEVICE-BASED LICENSING
ZENCOLORCONNECT™ (desktop and mobile) applications are licensed by device, which is defined as a computer authorized by the subscriber to be used to access the application. For a shared device, like a classroom or lab workstation, a single device license can support multiple users from the same device. zenColor® device licenses are ideal for desktop computer labs and classrooms, small workgroups, departments and student computers.
- zenColor® issues device-based “license keys” upon subscription
- A license key may be issued with a quantity of “activations” for the desired number of devices
- A license key can be installed and activated on a computer for the quantity of activations purchased
- License subscriptions for virtual computers are treated the same as physical computers
- Additional device license subscriptions may be purchased
