ZCC® COLOR PICKER
Color conversions from zenColorCode® (ZCC)
to all color spaces; HSB/V, CIELab, HSL, and CMYK.
CSV DATA FILE
Convert a CSV file containing HEX codes into the normalized zenColorCode® (ZCC) and the corresponding HEX standard.
File Exchange allows you to select from up to six different output formats, has six viewing options, add lets you add reference tags.
STEP 1: SELECT OUTPUT FORMAT
Output formats include PNG, JPG, ASE, ACO, CSV or JSON
Graphic file formats (PNG, JPG) attach associated metadata (Internal Color Name, Internal Color Number, Tech Pack, Swatch File Name, Note) directly to your Swatch File.
ASE, ACO, CSV, and JSON formats will not save swatch metadata.
Graphic file formats (ASE, ACO) can be imported into most Adobe® design programs.
STEP 2: SELECT VIEWING OPTIONS
Sort Numerically in ascending ZCC numeric order.
Sort by Hue, Saturation, or Lightness values in ascending order.
Identify Missing Tags in Workspace that are missing internal color names or internal color numbers.
Remove Duplicates: Identifies and removes the duplicate swatches.
Finish these options before you export the file.
STEP 3: ADD REFERENCE TAGS
Cross reference the Internal Color Name (up to 25 characters) and Internal Color Number (up to 9 characters) to corresponding zenColorCode® (ZCC).
All swatch files require a unique Swatch File Name that cannot contain special characters.
The fields for Tech Pack and Notes are options to tag additional information directly to the Swatch File.

Load your ZCC® digital production standard into Color Manager and compare it to approve samples of bulk fabric.
∆E TOLERANCE FACTORS
Use the BASIC option to select commonly used values of 2 for acceptability and 1 for the threshold of imperceptibility.
Use the ADVANCED option to vary the commercial factor (cf), lightness (l) and chroma (c) parameters to customize your acceptable tolerance standard. A default acceptability setting uses a ratio of 2:1 for l and c, with cf set at 1.
